So much goes into planning how you how you want to look on your wedding day. Finding the perfect dress and the right hair style are just part of the equation. Having the correct makeup application is also very important. The right shades, finishes and techniques are what go together to create a superb wedding-day look, whether it's natural, romantic and soft, or dramatic.
I offer both airbrushing and traditional makeup applications, and will travel to your wedding site to ensure a flawless look just before you walk down the aisle that will keep you radiant and picture perfect from the first kiss to the last dance! This is the one day when everyone’s eyes are sure to be on you and these are the pictures you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
I always recommend scheduling a trial before the wedding to ensure that together we achieve your vision on your big day!

What to expect from your makeup trial?
Your makeup trial is your chance to find the look you adore, which will be immortalized in your wedding photographs to cherish for a lifetime! The trial gives you a sense of how we will apply your makeup on your wedding day. This is when we decide on the look that you feel the most comfortable with and reflects who you are as a person.
Here are a few things you should know about your makeup trial process. Understanding what to expect and how to prepare will help to make it as effective as possible.
Before your makeup trial:
▪ Know your skin type – Be sure to share what type of skin you have and any other important information about your skin such as allergies or irritants. I will decide what products to use on you based upon this information.
▪ Know your style – Do some research before the trial and print some examples of the styles you like.
▪ Know what you don’t like – Print, or create a Pinterest page with examples of styles you don’t like so I can avoid these looks and better understand your preferences.
During your makeup trial:
▪ As your makeup artist, I will give you advice on what styles suit your personality, style and facial features the best. I might suggest looks that you haven’t yet considered. You shouldn’t feel pressured to follow all of my advice, but while you have my expertise at your fingertips, try to give it your consideration.
▪ I will want to get to know you, listen carefully to your ideas and opinions and respect your vision.
▪ Speak up. If you don’t like something, let me know! I will not be offended. Try to be as specific as possible-is it the blush; is it your lip color? This will help me to know exactly what you want.
▪ Don’t be disappointed if you feel that your look isn’t totally picture perfect. The goal of the trial is to discuss options and arrive at the basic concept of your wedding day look, and it should give you a good idea of what the actual result will be.
After your makeup trial:
▪ Makeup and skin interact with each other in a way that even the most experienced artists cannot always predict, so after the trial, you will need to “live” in the makeup for a bit. If it wears off too quickly, or after wearing it for a while you change your mind about the look, then be sure to communicate this with me. It’s normal for a look to be tweaked a bit based on trial results.
Above all else, don’t forget to have fun. A marriage is a joyous occasion and I believe that the preparations should be too!
Grooming for your Groom
I will help your man cut the shine, redness and blotchiness in his skin. Also helps to cover acne and shaving mishaps.
He will feel like a movie star and photograph beautifully. Allow 30 minutes to Groom your Groom!
Head Shots & Portraits.
I highly recommend having your makeup done professionally for your Headshots. Whether you are a man or a woman, a professional makeup application, or male grooming will make your shots pop and look more professional. This translates into more work for you as an actor, singer, and a more polished image if you're a business person.
Male Grooming
For your photos, I will eliminate redness and blotchiness from your skin. I will also helps to cover acne, too much shine, and shaving mishaps. Allow 30 minutes for this service.

FAQ.
Do you do hair?
I do basic styling and will do light touch ups for your photos. For more advanced hairstyles, I have wonderful stylists that I work with on a regular basis that I highly recommend for up - do's and more formal hair services. I offer blow outs for an additional charge.
Do you take Credit Cards, Cash or Checks?
I take all the above. For credit cards I take Mastercard and Visa.
What do you charge?
When you contact me using the link above, I can give you my pricing information, and will send you my price list.
When do I pay you?
Payment is expected when services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. However, for weddings there is a minimum charge.
Do you travel?
Of course! I am happy to travel anywhere in the Tri-State area (and beyond). The travel fee, parking and tolls are not included in price and are the client's responsibility.
Do you offer touch-ups?
I will come and provide my services and work until everyone is complete. For Brides, if you would like for me to stay with you until after your ceremony, I offer a day rate as well as a half day rate. For anything other then bridal, including headshots, I will stay for touch ups for an additional hourly fee.
Do you provide early morning sessions?
Yes I do. However there is an early morning fee if the start time is before 7:00am.
What type of products do you use on your clients?
I use the top of the line, long wearing, professional makeup products including: Face Atelier, Viseart, RCMA, Makeup Forever, Kryonlan,
Ben Nye, Bobbi Brown, Inglot, MAC, Nars, Laura Mercier, Cinema Secrets, Too Faced Cosmetics, Mehron, Cargo, Urban Decay, Senna, Temptu, Anastasia, OCC, and more - customized for each client.
Do you offer eyelash extensions?
I do not do lash extensions. I do offer traditional false eyelash application (Individual and Strip.) For Brides, the lashes are included. For other clients, there is a small fee for the actual lashes and application. *If you have your own I will apply them for you for free. However, I always come prepared with a variety of lashes for you to choose from.
Do you have a bridal minimum?
I do not require a minimum except on holiday weekends. During these times the minimum is four people, including the bride.
(i.e., Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th)
I love your work! How can I reserve my date?
Unfortunately, for weddings I cannot hold dates without a signed contract and deposit. If we schedule a trial date and it is a month in advance, I’ll hold your date until I meet with you. If you want to move forward after the trial, I will send you a contract. There is a fourteen day grace period to review, sign and send back to me. After that time, the wedding date is released for other clients.
How far ahead should I wait to book you for my wedding/event?
It is never too soon to book me! For Brides, I recommend at least four months before your wedding.

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for makeup and I'm equally as passionate about helping people look and feel their best. I strive to make every interaction with my clients and colleagues one of positivity.
Angela's Makeup NY, LLC has been operating since 2013, when I decided to follow my passion for makeup and transform it into a business. Since then, I’ve been helping people be their most beautiful. A few years back, I decided to formally study makeup artistry again, get current with the new trends, and hone my skills. I received a certification in Advanced Makeup Artistry with the New York School of Esthetics and Day Spa. In addition, I have taken workshops with the great Kevin James Bennett, MAC, Temptu, Makeup Forever, and more! One of the most important things I learned as a makeup artist is understanding color theory, and the ability to create the illusion of flawless skin by understanding all skin types and tones.
I am also a singer and I have performed on Broadway, Tours, Regional Theater, Summer Stock, and Symphony Concerts in the USA and Europe. I sing back up for world-renowned performers and have been a member of Broadway Inspirational Voices Gospel Choir for over 18 years. Transforming myself into eclectic characters always sparks my imagination and gives me constant inspiration. As a performer, I know first hand what it takes to be in front of people, or a camera, and the need to look and feel your best.
You can come to me here in Westchester, or I will come to you! Whether you need me in your home, hotel, event space or photographers studio, I can be there.
